MSP stands for Managed Service Provider, this is a subscription based service that we offer to our clients. As a MSP, we monitor, support, and manage your Information Technology (IT) infrastructure remotely. Through proactive monitoring, patching and preventative maintenance processes, we ensure that things are running smoothly. We will keep you informed of what we see in our remote monitoring and management tools, so that together we can address any concerns. This facilitates better planning and budgeting (as an example, it is good to know if drives are about to fail, an application keeps crashing, or cloud backup is exceeding allocated storage).

That depends on the age of your hardware. If your hardware is less than 3 – 4 years old, then the likely answer is no. Having said that, software developers constantly upgrade their software to provide new features and patch security holes. Also operating system developers (Microsoft, Apple, Linux) have a software lifecycle that dictates major version upgrades. For example, new versions of Windows 11 will not work on legacy hardware. It’s a good rule of thumb to budget hardware replacement to occur every five years.
